You say tomato, we say The Drunken Tomato

Life’s too short to drink bad bloody marys.

And we’re certainly not the only ones who believe this mantra. Enter Shelley Buchanan from The Drunken Tomato. Shelley is hands down the bloody mary queen of LA. In fact, one could say she wrote the book on SoCal bloody marys. Because she did.

We were stoked to snag a copy of her debut book, aptly titled The Drunken Tomato. The book includes over 90 mouth-watering reviews of bloody marys from all over LA and Orange County. Organized by area, each well researched review includes the address, website and the juicy details of the bloody. Besides the thirst-inducing photos, our favorite part is the “Why go?” which quickly summarizes each bloody’s tastiest, most differentiating attributes.

This book would make the perfect gift for the bloody mary lovers in your life who travel to or live in Southern California. We certainly plan on using The Drunken Tomato as our brunch bible on our next trip.

Grab your free e-copy on Amazon now until February 13. Or buy a hard copy here.
